Quick setup, good coverage

Signed up for a new SIM plan online. Setup was fast. Coverage has been good. No problems with calls or data. Happy with the switch.

Smooth transfer, minor hiccup

I decided to move my number to Ecotalk and opted for their 12-month SIM plan. The online order process was clear enough, and I received my physical SIM card within 3 days, which was faster than I expected, reaching my place in Edinburgh. Porting my old number took about 24 hours, which was fine, though I did have a brief period where my old SIM stopped working before the new one kicked in fully. Their online guides were helpful for setting up the APN settings. Data speeds on 4G have been reliable. I appreciate their commitment to nature restoration, it was a big factor in my decision.

So happy with my new plan!

I just signed up for a 12-month SIM plan with Ecotalk, and I am so excited! The sign-up process was super quick, and getting my e-SIM activated was a breeze. I love that they use their profits to help nature, it makes me feel good about my choice. My data speeds have been great so far. I will definitely be telling my friends about them. It's a fantastic service!

Easy switch, good signal

Switched my mobile over to Ecotalk last month, got one of their monthly rolling contracts. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much difference from my old provider but the signal's been solid, even when I'm out in the countryside visiting family. Setting up the e-SIM was easier than I thought, just followed the steps on their website. Didn't have to call anyone or anything. Pretty decent overall, happy with it.

Always a smooth switch

I've been with Ecotalk for a couple of years now, switching my SIM-only plan a few times as my data needs changed. This last time, I upgraded to their 5G data plan. Just like before, the process online was straightforward. My previous plan was running out, and I just opted for a new one. It was all handled quickly, no issues with my service interrupting. Good to see they keep things consistent.

I'm thinking about switching my whole family over. Do they have any multi-SIM or family plans?

I Ian 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they have multi-SIM family plans. You should get a discount for having multiple lines.

My friend has his family on Ecotalk with a multi-SIM plan. Said it saved him a bit each month compared to individual plans and it was easier to manage everyone's usage.

I'm a student, any chance of a student discount with Ecotalk?

K Kyle Taylor 1 day ago
They sometimes do general sign-up offers, which might be as good as a student discount, but I haven't seen a dedicated one from them personally.

P Paul Jones 1 day ago
I haven't seen specific student discounts mentioned on their site much, but sometimes these types of networks have partnerships. It's worth checking their 'deals' page.

Do they ever do any good deals? Like a first month free or something like that? Trying to save a bit upfront.

A Adam Sanchez 2 days ago
They don't do percentage discounts much, but sometimes they have a 'first month free' offer for new customers, especially around things like Black Friday or Earth Day.

I got a referral credit when I joined, my friend gave me a code and we both got some money off our bills. That's how they usually do discounts, seems like.

What if I go on holiday to Spain? Will my Ecotalk plan work there?

L Leah J. 4 weeks ago
They offer international roaming add-ons, so you'd probably need to buy one of those for Spain. Check their website for the rates.

R Richard 3 weeks ago
You'll need a roaming bundle for sure. Don't just assume it'll work, it'll cost a fortune without one.

Hey, I'm thinking about switching to Ecotalk. I'm in Manchester, how's the coverage there? Don't want to switch and then have no signal.

H Hannah P. 3 weeks ago
Ecotalk actually uses the EE network, so if EE is good in your area, Ecotalk should be too. You can probably check EE's coverage map online.

B Brittany Lewis 3 weeks ago
Yeah, what the other person said. I'm in Leeds and it's solid for me, no issues with calls or data. EE is generally pretty good in most cities.
